In a city of flowers

As part of Barnsley Bright Nights, come along to The Cooper Gallery for an exciting light installation.

In a City of Flowers by Lou Chapelle is a holographic and interactive installation that invites viewers to gently place their hands within small wooden shelters to hold a butterfly in their palm.

The work consists of 12 houses, each hosting a different British breed: some thriving, some vulnerable or extinct, some migrating.
